Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure
Full transparency on how GPT-Live Hub makes money, so you can judge our recommendations accordingly.
Short version. This site earns money through affiliate links (e.g., ChatGPT Plus), display advertising (when eligible), and (eventually) a paid newsletter tier. All of these are listed below with the relevant trade-offs. Editorial decisions are independent of monetization — see our editorial standards for how we ensure that.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. The most common are ChatGPT Plus upgrade links. If you purchase through one of these links, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships, in order of magnitude:
- ChatGPT Plus / Pro subscriptions — when you click a "Get ChatGPT Plus" button on this site and complete a purchase, OpenAI's affiliate program pays us a referral fee.
- Future third-party products — if we ever recommend a third-party voice tool, model, or hosting plan, that recommendation will be flagged in-context and re-listed here.
Our editorial recommendations are not paid placements. We do not write or revise an article because of an affiliate relationship, and we would refuse a relationship that asked us to.
Display Advertising
Some pages on this site contain clearly labeled ad slots. When our traffic reaches the eligibility threshold for an ad network (around 1,000 daily unique visitors), we plan to apply to one or more of the following:
- Google AdSense
- Ezoic
- Mediavine
Ad slots are visually distinct from editorial content and labeled "Advertisement." We do not control the specific ads displayed by any of these networks. We do not currently serve personalized ads based on sensitive categories.
Newsletter
The newsletter on this site is currently free. If we ever introduce a paid tier, it will be a separate opt-in and will not gate the existing free updates. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email we send.
Sponsored Content Policy
We do not currently accept sponsored posts. If we ever do, the post will be marked with "Sponsored" near the headline and on the post's metadata. Sponsored content is held to the same factual accuracy standards as our editorial work.
Material Connections
The site's authors and editors have no financial relationship with OpenAI beyond the affiliate relationship described above. We do not own stock in OpenAI's parent entities (as of the date on this page). If this changes, we will update this page within 30 days.
Compliance
This page is intended to satisfy the disclosure requirements of:
- FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255, effective 2023 updates).
- Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (UK).
- Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australia, Schedule 2).
- Google's product-review and policy guidance.
